July 4th Performance!

10 things you need to know for the July 4th show

Show:   Immediately following the parade 11:30 am.
Bring or wear:  red/silver leos, black velvet bikers, red/silver scrunchie, black sports bra (if needed.)

1  We have a new gymnast joining us for the show!

Hanna Graff did 11 front handsprings and stood them up with straight legs tonight so she will be in the show.  We only have three Level 4 gymnasts in the show. The rest are Level 5 – 7.  There will be 10 of you performing
.

2  The biker shorts are here!

I hope I got the right sizes for everyone.  I will have them at the gym for you tomorrow. . It would be nice, moms, if you would buy them for your gymnast so she can use them whenever she wants.  They are only $ 15.00 + tax  (.98) = $ 15.98.

3  We should have plenty of leotards for everyone

They came out nice in the wash – boy was I careful too!  The names came off the tags, but I have the list of whose was whose so will remark the tags before I bring them in Thursday.  I had them separated in groups for the wash.  We will use some of the extras - leotards of girls that are not in the show or no longer in gymnastics. I will hand out the leotards on Thursday and you can take them with you and wear them Friday. Give them back to me after the show dirty!!!!  I will wash them.

4  Black Sports bras!

One thing I forgot to mention . . . again . . . concerns the girls who wear sports bras.  Do you all have black ones?  You really need to have a black sports bra for the show.  If you don’t have one, email me, and email your size and I will try to find one for you to wear. I do have one someone could borrow.  It is a size ALA and it isn’t new.  I should have reminded you sooner.  Smaller gymnasts won’t need sports bras of course.

5  We will practice the show in the 12:00 – 1:30 class on Thursday just as it will be on Friday

Those of you who aren’t performing in the show may not get a very good work out Thursday, but you are welcome to come anyway.   If any of you 'show' people want to work extra on any skills etc, you can come in at 4 pm after my classes and work on them.  You don’t want to get so sore or tired you can’t tumble Friday though.  : )

6  Music!

We will use music.  Any ideas?  I paid royalties so we can use any music we want to!  Legally!

7  Cheerleaders!

I invited the cheerleaders to tumble with us in the show. I am not sure if they will ?  If they do they can get together and possibly wear matching shorts and tank tops?  If you need a tank top I might have one you can borrow.

8  The day of the show!  Friday morning!

We will meet in the auditorium at 9:30 sharp for a warm up class before the parade.  The parade starts at 10:30 so that should give us enough time to warm up, and time for you to get where you need to be to watch the parade. You can watch the parade close to the gym too if you want to.  We not only need to stretch but also to warm up skills so you don’t have to go out and tumble in front of everybody cold.

Then you need to be back at the gym asap after the parade!  As soon as the people gather in the auditorium, we will begin the performance!  It won’t be very long.  About 45 minutes at the most.

9  Details

Make sure you have a red and silver scrunchie!  If your hair can be put up, then it needs to be up!  No dangly ear rings.  No gum or candy. No jewelry.  Leave all of your valuables at home or with your moms.

10  Moms!  Bring your cameras!

I think that is everything.  If you have any questions, or if I forgot anything, let me know okay?

Thanks for everything!  And get ready for a great show!  : )

You may register using the online form or by printing the print version of the Registration Form on the website and mailing it to me via US Mail OR bring it with you to class.
If you are not able to print the form from this site, let me know and I will be happy to mail you a blank form.
I must have your online registration form OR your printed form before you participate in class.
  Thanks!

Liability waivers!
Liability Waivers must be signed and either mailed to me or handed to me in person before any student may participate in any class.  They may be printed from this website or I can mail one to you via US Mail.  This is a USAG ruling, an Insurance Company ruling, a City ruling and may be law soon if it isn't already.  This is for your gymnast's protection.

Fall students will be required to pay an insurance fee beginning the Fall 2008 session.  : (   sorry

*All credits from spring will be applied to tuition!

Policy reminder.
(Policy can always be found on this website. It has not changed since the site was uploaded in 2005.)

Tuition is the same each month regardless of attendance.
Classes may be made up at any time, just ask.  (sooner is better)   Each student is offered 36 classes for the 9 month session. This averages 4 classes for each monthly payment. Each student will receive fewer than 4 classes during some months and more than 4 classes during others. I send calendars at the beginning of the Fall session listing the number of class days offered each month.

Open Gyms will be offered at no charge.
I will notify you of these times via the Calendar and Announcements on the website. If you are interested let me know and I will notify you by email ahead of time. You may use open gym as a time to make up classes you have missed.

Any extra rehearsals or classes prior to performances are at no charge to you.

Students who leave classes in the middle of the term are automatically sacrificing their place in class. Once production choreography has begun, students will not be introduced or re-introduced into existing classes. A particular class may no longer be in existence when you return.

These policies are required for the success of our school. A regular monthly income is crucial to financial planning. Pro-rating for all students is not feasible. A regular monthly amount is generally considered simpler by parents and their budget planning.

Thank You!

Activities, extra classes and cancellations will be posted on our
Calendar pages also.

updated October 29, 2007

Please visit the website of my very first and beloved dance and gymnastics instructor, Debbie Diggs.  This is where it all started for me at the age of 16.  Debbie not only taught me to dance and to teach, but helped me with life as did her husband Hal.  I knew Hal and Debbie in Red Cloud, NE.  They now live in Toppings, Virginia.
